Punjab Minister Distributes Green Tractors to Farmers in Gujrat – Green Tractor Scheme Update

Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Shafay Hussain visited Gujrat on Saturday, where the Punjab government officially handed over Green Tractor Scheme tractors to local farmers.

During the ceremony, 34 farmers received the keys to their new green tractors under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Green Tractor Scheme, which aims to modernize agriculture and support small farmers.

The key-distribution event was attended by several members of the Punjab Assembly, including Syed Madad Ali Shah, Ijaz Rania, Musa Elahi, Abdullah Yousaf, and Raja Aslam. They joined the minister in handing over tractors to the selected farmers.

Also present were President PML Gujrat City Ali Abrar Jora, Director Agriculture Extension Dr. Irfanullah Warraich, officials from the Agriculture Department, and a large number of farmers. The participants appreciated the government’s initiative to provide tractors on a Rs. 1 million subsidy, helping farmers reduce costs and adopt modern farming practices.
