463 Farmers Receive Subsidised Tractors in Rahim Yar Khan Under Punjab Green Tractor Scheme
In a major step toward supporting farmers and strengthening Punjab’s agriculture sector, the government has distributed 463 brand-new tractors to eligible farmers in Rahim Yar Khan under the Chief Minister’s Green Tractor Scheme 2025. The distribution ceremony was held on Saturday and organized by the Agriculture Extension Department.
Each selected farmer received a modern tractor with a subsidy of Rs. 1 million, ensuring easier access to advanced machinery and reducing overall cultivation costs. Farmers were chosen through a transparent e-balloting process, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all applicants.
